I’m looking into integrating a click-to-call solution into our SKUID detail views. I would like to know if there’s any app/method that is tested and working fully (call logs, and all that jazz) for SKUID? Or any place I should look to in order to create such a system?
I don’t know of any but you might have some luck on the Salesforce App Exchange …

Yes Karen, basically when I asked the question I was afraid - as I had read some comments regarding problems with the standard SF sidebar in skuid and softphones - that it wouldn’t work straight out of the box, but it does and with some tweaking it’s possible to make it look great!
