Pat. I think you have identified a bug and we will work on it. However, I think you can work around the issue by adding a “cancel model changes” action after your “empty model data” actions. In my testing that has reset the model sufficiently to trigger the conditional rendering I was expecting.
This will be resolved in Superbank Patch 7.
