These little skuids are some kind of "copy protection" :)
Other than that, they just look sweet :)

I agree - they do look sweet. However, we just had an accessibility audit that recommended they be removed as they are surfaced in screen readers:
There are some "octopus" icons on the page. Although they are not visible, they are exposed to screen reader software. These should either be removed, or hidden from everyone.
Is there a way of removing these and, if not, can this be made available through a setting?

Could you apply aria-hidden to them? That might do it.

Apologies... these sweet little octopi were introduced several years ago to prevent CSS margin collapse (and also as a fun easter egg). Our team will review and make a decision about how to prevent them from interfering with screen readers.

Hi Louis,

This has now been fixed in the new Brooklyn 10.0.21 and Millau 11.1.8 releases, which is now available on the Skuid Releases page.

As a reminder, Salesforce does NOT allow reverting back to prior versions of managed packages. Skuid always recommends installing new versions in a non-business critical sandbox environment to test all mission critical functionality before installing into a production environment. We also recommend that you update out of date themes when you upgrade. Please let us know if you continue to encounter any problems with this issue after upgrading.
