I recently noticed that if a render condition in a popup is using the same model (or even object) as the page title of the popup button, it will not render.

I'm not sure I get the problem.

I have a contact detail page.  In the page title (on the contact object)  I have a button for "new task"
In that new task i have lots of task data.
I conditionally render fields int he popup based on whether the do not call field is set in my contact model.

It seems to work fine.

How is this different than what you are trying to do?
And..  what version of Skuid are you running?

Thanks.

I noticed that the problem only occurs if the the page title is of a different model but of the same object as the model of the render condition.

We are currently using version 5.12

Hmm.  I cannot reproduce this behavior.  I know we made significant changes to conditional rendering in the release we pushed just before Dreamforce.  You might upgrade to one of the latest releases and see if that fixes the issue.
