Can we have responsive graphs in skuid?

We have included a graph component on our skuid page. Now the problem which we are facing is: the graph is not scaling itself according to high and low values on both the axis. Say one record has values  which requires the y-axis with value ranges in 1000, 2000, 3000 etc, another record requires values in the range 100, 200, 300 etc. When we plot a graph only 1 range comes up and for comparatively lower value ranges the bar on the graph becomes too small. Is there a way that we can make this graph auto scale or responsive?

Naman,

What graph type are you working with (line, bar, column)?
Could you post some screenshots of what you’re experiencing?

Hey Amy, sorry to keep you waiting on this, they are using bar graphs with stacked graph for different categories. I’ve attached a screenshot attached with this comment. Here if you can see we are unable to differentiate between different categories, where the numbers on y axis are really small, whereas in the second case they are visible properly. Also, the date range is appearing several times we want the same just once and want the scale on the y axis to be responsive.

Naman,

What version of Skuid are you on?
When do these two different scenarios occur? Does it depend on what’s on the page or is it when you adjust a property of the chart?
You might try looking at the axis1 of the chart, and setting the Min Value to 0 and leaving the Max Value blank. That should allow for more responsive behavior.

As for your label repeating itself, that’s kind of odd.
Can you post a screenshot of the categories setup for your chart?
Are you by chance using a template for the category type that may cause the name to repeat like that?
Is this chart based on a basic or aggregate model?

Hi Amy, removing the upper limit is not making it responsive, here are the screenshots attached for the same category setup.

Hi Amy,

Any update on this?

Naman,

Can you explain what your setup is when you get those two different views of the chart? Is that on two different pages or does that happen when you resize the page or change a property of the chart?

Hello Amy,

We are facing this issue from so many days can we take a call so that we can share a screen and discuss this and close this in one go,Please let us know your preferable time.We can have a meeting so that we can check all the settings and fields by screen sharing.

We really need to solve this ASAP as its very critical and IMP for the customer.

Thank you
Yogesh

Have you gone through our documentation surrounding how to do this?
https://docs.skuid.com/latest/en/skuid/components/visualizations/chart/index.html

Can you share your setup in a simple XML page using standard objects and fields?
