Site formating failing

I did not see you previous questions.  The size of the iframe is set to that size as some pages in the includes are long.   I have not found a method to make iframes responsive.

Custom themes are still supported. Testing on a stock them will narrow the potential areas of where the problem could arise. If it works with a stock theme, then we’d need to look at the custom components and go from there. If it breaks with a stock theme then we’ll need to look elsewhere.

Currently, this is the only website we know of that is having this problem on iPhone. We don’t have much else to go off of elsewhere.

Ok.  let me check

I will leave the changes I have made until you have look.  I do not want too long.  Here is the current state  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B409lhd9sYDcSVVvR1B3TThETXc/view  Can you call after you look at it.

Thank you. I’ve taken a look at it and seen it. At this point I’m trying to make a reproduction page that is simplistic and easy to see if the problem persists.

Thanks Stephen.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this problem. Here is my page with custom CSS and custom theme, working in juxtaposition to what I’m seeing in your page. I have no scrolling issues and I can’t find a way to break it.

It seems like the ‘non-skuid’ elements are not meshing with the skuid or salesforce elements on your page somewhere. I cannot find a more specific answer for you at this time.

If you can create a simpler page outside the customization where the scrolling issue persists, I’d love to take a look at it.

Here are 2 environments with exactly the same css and xml

https://mainsandbo-dorothy.cs50.force.com/Member/  sandbox works
https://dorothy.secure.force.com/Member/ production fail

bill.fox@dorothy.com
222222

They are both running skuid 9.3.3 winter Discover 17

Iphone and ipad display differently.

Both of those links take me to two different pages upon sign in and both work on my iPhone.

Hmm.  Me too.
https://dorothy.secure.force.com/Member/
http://member.dorothy.com/

Here is what I have found on my iphone.

In godaddy  http://member.dorothy.com is forwarded to https://dorothy.secure.force.com/Member/  with masking.  (which is how it has always been set on Godaddy) (does not work

To test I also set up  http://m.dorothy.com forwarded to https://dorothy.secure.force.com/Member/  without masking  (it works)

Salesforce say masking will not effect them, so it’s not salesforce.  Which means something changed in apple as it pertains to masking or something at skuid.  Any idea as I would prefer to mask

Masking could potentially affect whether you are able to get to the page or not but it would have nothing to do with any form of scrolling issue once the page is loaded.

Could you elaborate on this: (does not work

I spoke with Godaddy who does the forwarding and masking and they say it’s not them.

Ok

Sure, when I go to  http://member.dorothy.com the full screen does not show.  Does it on yours?

It does not have the ability to scroll down. It is the same thing we saw yesterday. But I cannot reproduce the problem on any other pages which makes it seem like it is something custom on your page that is keeping it from working. If you can create a simpler page outside the customization where the scrolling issue persists, I’d love to take a look at it.

both http://m.dorothy.com and http://member.dorothy.com go to the same page. The first one works because it is not masked. They both use the same skuid page, so it is not CSS or XML. The only difference is the masking.

On godaddy m.dorothy.com is set up like this:

On godaddy member.dorothy.com is set up like this:

It looks like GoDaddy’s masking function is breaking your page.

If it works for the first one but breaks for the second one, I think you found the problem.

I found through trouble shooting, if I delete almost any one of your css pages here, the page works. I’m not sure if GoDaddy only allows so many. But whatever it is, I would stay away from masking.

This is a new feature in Brooklyn. Have you tried this yet? Just trying to cover the bases.

Our 9.3.4 release fixed this issue, which seemed to be one of the problems you might have been facing:

Inline CSS is not applied to theme while it’s in the theme composer

Hopefully that could clear things up for you.

As a reminder, Salesforce does NOT allow reverting back to prior versions of managed packages. Skuid always recommends installing new versions in a non-business critical sandbox environment to test all mission critical functionality before installing into a production environment. We also recommend that you update out of date themes when you upgrade.

The external resources are still disappearing if I edit the CSS and save.
