Popups have unique id - can be toggled in action framework

I've had many instances of creating the same popup in several places on a page. Some times I'll just switch it to a separate page and page include, but if it's a simple popup that doesn't make much sense.ย

Could you give popups a unique id, then show them via the Action Framework with Toggle Component? It might have to include choosing a model to give the popup a context.

Can you accomplish what you need with an Action Sequence?

Yes most likely! Great idea. The need arises more out of instances where I built just one popup, then much later realize I need it again. BUT - best practice might be to always build popups in Action Sequences, just in case. Also makes them easier to find and edit.ย

Yes. I had one popup "buried" inside a calendar component, and it was being heavily edited. When I hit on the Action Sequence idea, I was so pleased with the ease of access, I was afraid I was doing something wrong!
