Obtaining the javascript / jQuery syntax or steps for a custom html button

Trying to configure some html buttons that would get the js script to a tab in a tab set. The html button must envoke a skuid popup window. 

I’ve set the unique panel tab id as: FAQ-PAN 

Not sure if that is part of setting up the syntax.

Hi Nick. There are a few good community posts that have looked at this. Here’s a detailed walkthrough, if you’re definitely needing to take care of this with Javascript. Of course, I’m not sure what your use-case is for this, but we’ll always encourage declarative solutions (in this case, using the action framework) whenever possible. Hope this helps!
